Capability

Orchestrated, evidenced, recorded — never held.

The payment step is where cross-border deals die — not because the money is not there, but because nobody can evidence it fast enough in the form the receiving end needs. This is what gets that evidence assembled before it is asked for.

What the platform provides

Built for traditional and digital capital

A cross-border purchase rarely stalls at the offer. It stalls at the money — a bank that will not send funds to a developer it has not placed, a transfer through three correspondents that arrives late and short, or a digital-asset holder who finds the conversion is the easy part and the paperwork is not.

The capabilities below run through regulated providers, on the firm's own contracts, with the evidence captured on the same record as the diligence.

01

Regulated banking rails

Access to regulated banking and payment infrastructure without the buyer holding a UAE banking relationship, with multi-currency holding and staged deployment.

Traditional capital
02

Cash purchase settlement

Direct AED settlement for cash buyers, with manager's cheque issuance for developer payment, Registry transfer and escrow.

Traditional capital
03

Escrow-aligned settlement

Escrow options for custody of funds during settlement, operated by the regulated escrow provider and documented at every stage.

Traditional capital
04

Licensed conversion

Digital-asset-to-AED conversion through VARA-regulated liquidity partners, at institutional rates and with the documentation a bank will accept.

Digital capital
05

Digital custody

Custody through VARA-regulated partners. Capital is held inside the regulated perimeter, in the client's own name.

Digital capital
06

Manager's cheque issuance

Formally issued manager's cheques for developer payment, Registry transfer or escrow, accepted across UAE developers and RERA-compliant escrow accounts.

Both
Beyond permissibility

What gets watched that a bank will not watch

A bank checks whether a transfer is permissible. That is a narrower question than whether a purchase completes on time.

Liquidity timing

Stablecoin volatility and liquidity timing across the window between instruction and completion.

Settlement windows

Market cycles and risk-hedging awareness across the settlement window, so a deadline is not met by accident.

Client confidentiality

Maintained throughout, and recorded so that who saw what is answerable afterwards.

What the record carries

The evidence pack

Bank statements, sale and share-transfer agreements, company accounts, tax filings, inheritance and gift documentation. Where funds originate in digital assets, exchange records, wallet attribution and transaction history.

Different counterparties, different requirements

A bank, a developer, a conveyancer and an exchange house each demand a different subset in a different format. The software maps one file to each.

The payment instruction record

The firm's instruction, who approved it, the documents attached to it, and the date.

Reconciliation

What the file expected against what the firm recorded as received, with the gap flagged before completion rather than at audit.

Control of funds

How the money moves, and who holds it

The connection

What the software does with a provider connection

Nothing here replaces a relationship you already have. If your firm banks where it banks and holds the provider contracts it holds, that stays true — the file is what changes, not the counterparties. Add or change a provider without rebuilding the file you already hold.

One file, mapped

Each provider expects a different evidence set in a different format. The software organises one file and maps it to each provider's requirements.

Tracked and recorded

What was sent and when, and the outcome recorded against the transaction.

Provider categories

Banks, electronic money institutions, licensed exchange houses, virtual asset service providers, escrow and conveyancing agents. Each holds its own licences in its own jurisdiction and contracts directly with the firm.

Perimeter · Licensed providers

Every regulated service on this page — banking rails, conversion, custody, escrow and the issuance of payment instruments — is provided by a licensed third party under its own licence, contracted directly by the firm. Escrow is operated by a DFSA-licensed escrow provider.

Setora is the software layer. It routes the request to the provider the firm has chosen, records what came back, and keeps that evidence on the same record as the diligence. It holds no client funds and issues no transfer instruction at any stage.

Tell us about a deal that stalled

Walk us through one cross-border purchase — where it got stuck, what was asked for, and what it took to answer. We will show you what that transaction looks like as a single record, with the gaps marked and each one named.
